With the increasing acceptance of clever viral video marketing ads, it seems more and more companies are investing in the production of video. Advertisers now know that the most successful videos provide viewers with information or entertainment and only spread through the online community if they offer up something entirely new.
That’s why I love this video from Nokia for their new N8 smartphone. They obviously want consumers to know about the video capabilities of their new smart phone, but they create something so unique that it’s hard not to appreciate what they’ve done. If you look closely, you’ll see that this is a stop-motion video created on a gigantic set with a number of different stop-motion engineers (is that what they’re called?) involved in its creation.
